Fairfield Hills, Newtown, CT

Sean and I visited Fairfield Hills last week with Brutus. Fairfield Hills was a psychiatric hospital until 1996, when The State of Connecticut Department of Mental Health closed it. The campus now sits on 189 acres of land which have buildings that were built in as early as the 1930s. Many of the buildings are crumbling and falling down. The architecture of the buildings is really pretty amazing to look at. It was really hot out, but other than that the weather was beautiful and I was able to take some nice pictures.
